LONDON CONDUCTING WORKSHOP ONLINE CLINIC 2020

We are proud to announce our new format to  deal with the unprecedented situation in which we find ourselves in this year.

The LCW Clinic is a FREE two stage consultation clinic for up to twelve participants. Its two elements are:

28 - 29 July

One private, individual 45 minute consultation with John Farrer and Howard Williams based on one conducting video submitted by each participant. If you have no suitable video but are interested in applying, we will be pleased to hear from you. Individual times by arrangement, between 16:00 and 21:00 BST.

We may also run some consultations on 30 July, depending on the number of applications we receive.

30 July, 17:00 BST

A 1.5-2 hour group seminar hosted by LCW, with two themes of group discussion:

'An approach to score preparation' led by John Farrer. Dr Farrer will be using Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, 1st movement to demonstrate his approach to score study.

'The Relationship between conductor and orchestra' led by Howard Williams.

Applications to be received as soon as possible, by 23:59 of July 24th at the latest. Your video, to be attached to your application, may of course be a little out of date but will still be valid for consultation purposes. If you have no suitable video but are interested in applying, please let us know so that we may invite you to our group seminar should there be positions available.

Due to the limited number of spaces available, applicants will be invited to participate on a first come first served basis.
