The area of London in which the Royal Academy of Music is situated is one of the most famous parts of the city, and boasts the beautiful Regents Park, which is home to the world famous London Zoo. The equally renowned Madame Tussauds, and the Planetarium are a short walk away, as is Baker Street, home to our intrepid detective Sherlock Holmes. For those wishing to hear concerts, visit art galleries or take a walk along the Thames river, the centre of the city is a short tube ride away. Numerous bars, cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity serve the area well for food and drink, and the shopping areas of Oxford Street and Regent Street are well within reach.
